History
Mochi was born on 21 July 2026 together with his siblings, Nori and Suki. Their mother rejected the litter shortly after birth, which meant the three kittens suddenly depended entirely on humans to survive.
They came into our care as tiny bottle babies and were hand-raised with round-the-clock feedings, warmth and a lot of lost sleep. They later gained some feline assistance from Jade, one of our adult rescue cats, who happily stepped into the role of foster mum.
Mochi has grown up surrounded by his siblings, other cats and people. The tiny bottle baby is now a healthy, social young cat with considerably less interest in bottles and considerably more interest in playing.
Personality
Mochi is friendly, curious, playful and very social. He likes people, loves other cats and has a strong desire to know exactly what everyone around him is doing.
He is an active little boy who enjoys chasing toys, wrestling with his siblings, exploring the house and investigating anything new that appears within reach. If Mochi thinks something might be entertaining, there is a good chance he will be involved within seconds.
Once he has finished being busy, he is also very affectionate and enjoys cuddles and spending time close to his humans.
Growing up with Nori and Suki has made feline companionship a normal and important part of his life. Mochi plays, sleeps and interacts with other cats every day, and we don't want him to lose that when he is adopted.
He can therefore go home together with one of his siblings or to a family that already has a friendly cat. He will not be adopted as the only cat in the household.
Behaviour Around Other Animals
Mochi loves other cats and has spent his entire life with Nori, Suki and other feline companions. Playing and wrestling with them is one of his favourite activities. He is also comfortable around cat-friendly dogs. He needs feline company and can leave with a sibling , with Jade or join a home that already has a friendly cat.
Behaviour Around Children
Mochi is comfortable around children and is a confident, friendly and playful kitten. He enjoys interaction and is always interested in what people are doing. He can happily live with children, provided they understand that kittens need gentle handling, respectful play and the freedom to walk away when they want to.
