About ELSA
The name ELSA is inspired by our beloved dog, Elsa, who was found by the side of the road outside a village by Ray Animal Rescue and became part of our family in 2018. She is the love of our lives and the heart of our mission — a symbol of resilience, second chances, and unconditional love.
At ELSA, we believe that kindness and action can change the world. Founded by two passionate advocates — Andreea, a pediatrician, and Maria, a web designer — our mission is to rescue animals, support children's healthcare, and empower communities through education. With nearly a decade of experience in animal rescue, we have seen firsthand the struggles that abandoned pets face and the impact that a helping hand can make. Our love for animals and deep commitment to their well-being drove us to create a space where every life matters, whether it's a stray animal in need of a home or a child requiring medical assistance.
