History
Fiona spent the beginning of her life as part of a city cat colony after most likely being abandoned by her family. Thankfully, a compassionate woman looked after her, making sure she was fed, spayed, and as safe as possible while living outdoors.
One day, Fiona was found with a serious eye injury that required surgery. Thanks to the care she received, she made a full recovery. Today she is completely healthy. One of her eyes remains beautifully cloudy from the injury, while the other is fully functional, giving her the adorable little "pirate" look that makes her truly unforgettable. Combined with her beautiful tabby stripes, Fiona has a charm that's impossible to resist.
Her difficult past has only made her appreciate love even more.

When found, She was diagnosed with a deep traumatic corneal ulcer accompanied by uveitis (inflammation inside the eye). To give her eye the best chance of healing, she underwent surgery in which her eyelid was temporarily closed to protect the cornea.
Thanks to prompt treatment and excellent care, the eye healed remarkably well. Fiona was left with only a superficial scar and retains partial vision in the affected eye.
She is looking for an indoor-only home where she can continue to thrive.
