History
Dottie’s life began in the most unfair way.
She was abandoned on the street when she was only around four weeks old, far too young to survive without her mother, protection, or human care. At that age, she should have still been surrounded by her family, but instead, she was left alone and vulnerable.
Fortunately, Dottie was found in time and brought to safety.
From the moment she entered our care, she showed an extraordinary ability to trust. Despite being abandoned so young, she never lost her love for people or her enthusiasm for life.
With proper food, veterinary care, warmth, and affection, Dottie quickly began to grow into a healthy and confident puppy.
Today, she weighs 13 kg and is expected to reach approximately 20 kg as an adult. She is no longer the tiny, helpless puppy found on the street. She has grown into a joyful, affectionate, and well-socialized young dog who is ready to become part of a permanent family.
Personality
Dottie is incredibly friendly, affectionate, playful, and open-hearted.
She loves everyone she meets and approaches both familiar people and strangers with curiosity and enthusiasm. She enjoys attention, cuddles, playtime, and simply being included in whatever is happening around her.
Dottie has a naturally cheerful personality and brings positive energy wherever she goes. She is confident without being overwhelming and affectionate without being demanding.
She is still a young puppy, so she enjoys running, playing, exploring, and learning about the world. At the same time, she is very people-oriented and is happiest when she can stay close to her caregivers.
Dottie is the kind of dog who quickly makes people feel as though they have known her forever.
Behaviour Around Other Animals
Dottie is extremely friendly with both dogs and cats.
She enjoys meeting other dogs and is comfortable living and interacting with them. She is playful, social, and happy to share her space with canine companions.
She is also gentle and relaxed around cats. She does not show aggression toward them and is able to live peacefully in a multi-pet environment.
Because she was socialized from a young age, Dottie is confident around other animals and enjoys their company.
She could live happily with another friendly dog, a dog-friendly cat, or as the only dog in a family that can provide her with regular social interaction and play.
As with any young dog, introductions to new animals should still be gradual and supervised.
Behaviour Around Children
Dottie is very friendly with people and is expected to do well in a family with children.
She is affectionate, playful, and enjoys interaction, making her a wonderful potential companion for respectful children who understand how to behave around dogs.
Because she is still young and may become enthusiastic during play, interactions with small children should be supervised. She may accidentally bump into a very young child simply because of her size and excitement.
With kind guidance and appropriate boundaries, Dottie could become a loving and loyal family dog.
Leash Behaviour
Dottie is leash-trained and already walks well on a lead.
She is comfortable wearing a collar or harness and enjoys going outside to explore.
As a young puppy, she may occasionally become excited by interesting smells, people, or other animals, but she responds well to guidance and continues to improve with regular practice.
Her future family should continue reinforcing calm walking, attention, and positive leash habits.
Training & House-manners
Dottie is potty-trained and has adapted very well to living in a home.
She understands that she should go outside for her toilet breaks and follows a consistent routine successfully.
She is also leash-trained and is learning the everyday manners expected from a young family dog.
Dottie is intelligent, eager to please, and motivated by praise, attention, treats, and play. She learns quickly when training is positive, consistent, and enjoyable.
Because she is still a puppy, she may occasionally become distracted, overly excited, or curious about objects around the home. Continued training will help her develop into a well-mannered adult dog.
She would benefit from learning and reinforcing basic commands such as sit, stay, come, wait, leave it, and settle.

Dottie enjoys a balanced daily routine that includes regular meals, outdoor walks, playtime, training, social interaction, and rest.
She loves spending time outside, exploring new smells, meeting friendly animals, and walking alongside her caregivers.
At home, she enjoys playing, following people from room to room, relaxing nearby, and receiving affection.
Like most young dogs, Dottie needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Short training sessions, puzzle toys, safe chew toys, and opportunities to explore help keep her happy and balanced.
After a busy day, she is happy to settle down and rest close to the people or animals she trusts.

Dottie is generally confident and friendly, but she may feel uncomfortable if she is left alone for very long periods, especially while she is still young.
Because she was abandoned as a tiny puppy, a stable routine and consistent companionship are important for helping her feel secure.
Sudden harsh corrections, rough handling, or chaotic environments may make her confused or unsettled.
She responds best to calm guidance, patience, praise, and positive reinforcement.
