She’s gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet with both cats and dogs.
She’s still a bit overwhelmed — after all, she’s been in the same small box for nearly half her life. Sometimes she freezes, unsure of what’s happening, but with patience and a leash, she follows quietly.

Behaviour Around Other Animals
Ashanti is nice to other dogs, but avoiding interaction during meal time is best. She likes to sleep in the same bed with cats and overall, she has nice behaviour around all the animals in the house.

She hasn’t spent time with small children yet, but probably due to her kind nature and her being calm she is okay if the children are also not overwhelming her.

Health status
The vet discovered 2 formations on her spleen, and recommended a splenectomy (removal of the spleen). The good news is that dogs can live perfectly fine without this organ, and we hope she recovered quickly after the surgery.
