Ozzy’s start in life was anything but easy. At just 6 weeks old, he and his siblings were abandoned and ended up in the public shelter of Cluj-Napoca. There, he fell sick with parvovirus, a deadly disease for puppies. He fought hard to survive, but even after recovering, his hardships weren’t over. He spent his days in a cold, wet kennel, never knowing the warmth of a loving home. The only kindness he experienced was during the few short moments volunteers could spend with him on weekends.

But Ozzy never lost his spirit. Despite everything, he remained full of life, joy, and an endless curiosity about the world! His tail wagged at every bit of affection, and he greeted every new day with hope in his eyes. When he finally got the chance to leave the shelter and enter our care, Ozzy began to truly blossom — playing with toys for the first time, cuddling in warm blankets, and discovering what it means to be safe.

And the best part? Ozzy's story now has the happiest ending: he was adopted by a wonderful family in Germany! Today, he's living the good life — surrounded by love, exploring the world with his humans, and never having to wonder if he’s safe again.
