Galateea's life began with more hardship than any kitten should ever experience.
At only six weeks old, she was found in devastating condition, suffering from a severe eye infection, feline herpesvirus, ear mites, and profound malnutrition. Weak, exhausted, and barely clinging to life, she needed urgent veterinary care to survive.
Her name, Galateea, comes from Greek mythology and means "the one brought to life." It could not suit her better. Every day, this tiny kitten reminds us that hope can be stronger than even the hardest beginnings.
She was immediately admitted to the veterinary clinic, where she received intensive treatment, careful monitoring, and around-the-clock care. Although her recovery is still ongoing and the long-term outlook for her eyesight remains uncertain, Galateea continues to surprise everyone with her determination and resilience.
Personalitate
Despite everything she has endured, Galateea has never stopped wanting affection.
She is incredibly gentle, trusting, and loving. Even during treatments, she seeks comfort from people and happily melts into warm hands and soft blankets. Her tiny purr carries far more strength than her little body suggests.
Galateea is curious about the world around her and, as she grows stronger each day, her playful kitten personality is beginning to shine through.

Her recovery is progressing well, although it is still too early to know whether her eyesight can be fully preserved. She remains under close medical supervision and will continue treatment until she is healthy enough to move into foster care.
Once fully recovered, Galateea will be vaccinated, spayed when old enough, tested according to age-appropriate veterinary protocols, and prepared for adoption.
