Forest’s life began with loss.
He was born into a litter of tiny kittens, but one by one, all of his siblings passed away. By the time help reached him, Forest was the only survivor left.
He was still a newborn, completely dependent on care, warmth, and regular feeding. Without his mother or siblings beside him, he was left entirely alone and in urgent need of rescue.
Two weeks earlier, on the very same day we had said goodbye to another kitten named Forest, this tiny life was placed in our hands. The timing made his arrival especially emotional, and we chose to give him the same name in honour of the little life we had just lost.
With the help of @tac.social, Forest was brought safely into rescue before it was too late.
He was estimated to be approximately the same age as Ivy, another orphaned newborn in our care who had also lost her sibling. From the moment they were introduced, the two kittens seemed to understand one another.
Since that day, Forest and Ivy have been together through every bottle feeding, every nap, and every small step forward.
The last survivors of two different families were no longer alone.
They had each other.
And they had a chance.
Personalitate
Forest is a gentle, affectionate, and quietly determined kitten.
Despite everything he experienced at such a young age, he finds comfort in closeness and warmth. He loves sleeping beside Ivy and often settles most peacefully when he can feel her next to him.
Because he is being bottle-fed and raised by caregivers, Forest is developing a strong bond with people. He associates human hands with food, warmth, reassurance, and safety.
As he grows stronger, his personality is beginning to emerge. He is curious, sweet, and increasingly interested in the world around him.
Forest may be tiny, but his will to survive is extraordinary.

Forest has formed an exceptionally close bond with Ivy.
They eat, sleep, rest, and grow side by side. Their relationship is already deeply rooted, and they bring one another comfort and security.
Because both kittens lost their original families, their bond has become especially important to their emotional and social development.
Forest gets along very well with adult cats and loves to sleep in a dog's fur.

Forest enjoys a busy routine filled with meals, active play, exploration, social time, and long naps.
He often begins the day ready for action and is eager to investigate what everyone else is doing.
He loves chasing toys, climbing, wrestling with Ivy, following the adult cats, spending time around the dogs, and joining his caregivers throughout the day.
After an energetic play session, Forest is happy to relax in a soft bed, curl up beside Ivy, or sleep close to one of the other animals.
He thrives in a home where he receives attention, companionship, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to stay active.

Forest does not enjoy being bored or isolated for long periods.
Because he has grown up surrounded by Ivy, adult cats, dogs, and people, companionship and activity are very important to him.

Forest arrived in our care as an orphaned newborn after all of his siblings had passed away.
Because of his age and vulnerable condition, he required immediate warmth, kitten milk formula, close monitoring, and continuous supportive care.
Forest made excellent progress and has grown into a healthy young kitten.
He continues to receive routine veterinary monitoring and age-appropriate preventative care.
Forest will be vaccinated, dewormed, tested according to veterinary recommendations, microchipped where applicable, and neutered before adoption or when he reaches the appropriate age and weight.
His future family will be expected to continue routine veterinary care and keep him safely indoors.
Forest’s story began with loss, loneliness, and uncertainty, but those difficult first days no longer define him.
Today, he is a healthy, confident, playful, and funny young tabby who brings energy and laughter wherever he goes.
He lost his original family, but he found Ivy, a home filled with adult cats and dogs, and people who refused to give up on him.
