Luxor was brought to our vet by someone who had just witnessed him being hit by a car. Everyone feared the worst — but this majestic black beauty is a strong boy. When X-rays were taken, we discovered he already had a metal plate in his femur — proof of a previous accident. This wasn’t his first brush with tragedy; he had survived being hit by a car before.

Sadly, no owner ever came forward. Despite once having a home and previous surgery, Luxor was left all alone. This latest accident left his tail injured beyond repair, requiring amputation. True to his resilient spirit, he recovered beautifully, quickly adapting to life without it — running, jumping, and balancing perfectly. He spent about two months admitted in the veterinary clinic, before finding a foster home. Through everything, Luxor has remained loving, trusting, and confident, greeting life with endless purrs  and head bumps. Today, he lives completely pain-free, his glossy black coat radiating elegance and strength.
